Located directly between Portland and Bangor, and just a 100
or so miles from the Moosehead and Acadia regions, Camden is easy
to find, and difficult to leave.
By Boat: You will find us located in the heart of spectacular
Penobscot Bay at: 44i 12.40'N 069i 03.40'W (NOAA Chart #13305).
From Boston, MA (200 miles): Proceed north on I-95 to
Exit 44 (I-295, South Portland).
From Portland, ME (85 miles): Take I-295 North
to Brunswick Exit 28. Take U.S. Rte. 1 North (Coastal Route).
U.S. Rte. 1 North to Route 90 just north of Waldoboro (left turn).
Route 90 meets with U.S. Rte. 1 again in Rockport, just south
of Camden.
From Bangor, ME (65 miles): Take I-295 South
to Route 1A South to Route 1 South.
Alternate Route from points south (Coastal U.S.
Rte. 1 bypass): I-95 to Exit 27 (Gardiner - Route 201). Follow
Route 201 into Gardiner and stay straight over bridge. At end
of bridge, turn right then take the next left onto Route 226.
Follow Route 226 until it ends and take a right onto Route 17.
In West Rockport, Route 17 intersects with Route 90 until it meets
with U.S. Rte. 1 in Rockport, just south of Camden.

Airlines: Major airlines fly into Portland and
Bangor airports. Daily commercial air service is also available
to Knox County Airport, at Owls Head in nearby Rockland. There
is limousine service from the Portland and Bangor airports, regular
bus service from Boston's Logan Airport and Portland, and taxi
