A great way to gain exposure for your business, and connect

include: Business After Hours, Christmas By The Sea, The Chamber
Challenge Golf Tournament, HarborArts Summer or Fall Festivals,
Marketing Seminar Series, or the Annual Dinner and Awards Banquet.
NETWORKING
The Chamber's Business After Hours event, held monthly,
gives Members an opportunity to meet and socialize in a casual
setting. Held at a sponsoring Member's business, Business After
Hours is also a way for prospective members to connect with current
members and gain a better understanding of the organization. Business
After Hours functions are always well-attended and the waiting
list for hosting an event is currently two years.
The Chamber also encourages Members to participate on
one of the many committees within the organization. In this way
Members help shape the philosophy, policy and perception of the
Chamber - both to its membership and the communities it serves.
ADVOCACY
The CRL Chamber also represents its membership on issues
of importance to the business community - at the state and local
levels. Our Legislative Affairs Committee is actively engaged
in issues including; health care availability, education costs,
transportation, signage, taxation, and economic development.
From time to time the Chamber also prepares White Papers
on issues of specific urgency and importance to its membership.
These papers are published to www.visitcamden.com, contained in
the weekly column, and sent directly local and state legislators.
Chamber Staff and Members also attend special-interest
meetings, events, and meeting of local government and agencies
to gather information and advocates on behalf of the members interests.
